ICF states that in the United States alone, over 22% of our children live below the poverty threshold.  Furthermore, they estimate that in minority groups residing in rural communities the percentage below poverty level rises to between 40 and 70 percent.  ICF has been serving children in the USA since 1952, by addressing the issues that prevent them from breaking out of systemic poverty.  They focus on literacy programs, neighborhood safety programs, child protective assistance with

domestic violence victims, education fighting gang affiliation and drug addiction, and higher education goals as well as role model and leadership skills. Most recent
